Browny’s Tips – US Open Day 5

Safe Bets

John Isner @ $1.39 – Kyle Edmund has had a good run at Flushing Meadows but I can’t see him beating Isner. The American should have too much firepower in front of his home crowd.

Roberta Vinci @ $1.40 – Last year’s runner-up should get the job done against 102nd ranked Carina Witthöft.

Madison Keys @ $1.14 – Keys should be too strong for Japan’s Naomi Osaka.

Worth a Punt

Kevin Anderson @ $2.96 – Made the quarterfinals here last year and he is every chance against Tsonga, particularly if he serves well.

Jack Sock @ $3.25 – Sock is playing some great tennis at the moment. He has a tough task against former champ Marin Čilić but I think he is a chance in front of his home crowd.

Nicolás Almagro @ $6.00 – Monfils is obviously the heavy favourite in this match but I think his odds are far too short. Interestingly Almagro has a 3-2 winning record over Monfils and I believe he is worth a small punt at $6.

Lucas Pouille @ $4.20 – Very good value for the Frenchman here I believe. Is only ranked 8 spots behind Roberto Bautista Agut yet is paying over $4. Definitely every chance.

Monica Niculescu @ $3.07 – I think that Caroline Wozniacki’s odds are a tad short here. A danger game for her and Niculescu has every chance of winning this.
