Browny’s Tips – Wimbledon Day 8

Safe Bets

Roger Federer @ $1.17 – Despite some of the big upsets of late, I can’t see Steve Johnson defeating Federer. He has had a great draw so far with no rain interruptions and will be fresh ready to go. He should win this one.

Angelique Kerber @ $1.20 – Kerber should account for Misaki Doi. Kerber is yet to drop a set in her first 3 matches.

Worth a Punt

Marin Čilić @ $2.10 – Čilić plays Kei Nishikori and this one is a really tough match to pick on grass. I think this surface should give Čilić’s big game the edge over Nishikori and he is also the better value of the two.

Sam Querrey @ $2.15 – I’m surprised Querrey doesn’t go in as favourite in this match against Nicolas Mahut, especially after defeating Djokovic. Another tough one to pick a winner but I think Querrey is good value. He is also ranked 10 spots higher than Mahut.

Nick Kyrgios @ $5.50 – I think Kyrgios has got a decent chance against Murray. It will be tough but these odds are very attractive to have a small wager with. If Kyrgios plays at his best I think he can get the edge to defeat Murray and send another big seed packing earlier than expected.
